Good Things About It Being 2008

Just a few things to look forward to in 2008 or at least to be happy about. (or not [img]graemlins/hmmm.gif[/img] )

You can finally get rid of that old calendar and hang up your new one.

People born on Feb 29th can finally celebrate their birthdays again.

It's an election year! ( and doesnt everyone really look forward to all those ads and all the mudslinging that goes with them [img]graemlins/wonder.gif[/img] )


'08 just has a certain ring to it.

I can finally just write the same year on both the date line and the year of the vehicle line (well, at least until the 09's come out LOL!)


2008 glasses worn by some partygoers stay in style for an entire year [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]


An endless deluge of the best and worst of 2007 lists and shows!

Prince has now partied like it's 1999 for almost a decade!

Only 1 more 0-anything year left after this one!

Crazy eights becomes the card game of the year and replaces texas hold 'em (well, that might be a reach but work with me on this one)

He's right though GL.
All of us who were born march 1st or later in the year get to/ have to wait one extra day before we turn a year older.

Good for some, as they hold back father time for an extra 24 hours.
For others, not so much since they have to wait one more day for the [img]graemlins/party.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/cake.gif[/img]
